Oma's Cottage
Your Shambhala on San Jaun Island
When Oma operated her Reflexology Center in Glendale California during the
80s and 90s she would often seek out the tranquility of Lake Arrowhead or
Idlewild to recharge her batteries. When she moved to San Juan Island in the
summer of 1999 she hoped to invite other reflexologists here to offer them a
retreat. Alas after a long and rewarding life her own health challenges never
allowed her to fulfill that objective. During the seven years that she made this
little house her home she did however anchor a lot of light in her Shambhala and
now it is our desire to maintain this light focus in her name.
For the last two years I have spent the long winter nights here writing a book about Oma's life experience. This is a work in progress and will likely take another two or three years to complete. Once it is finished and published I will continue to spend my winters sifting through Oma's archives and updating the postings on her web site. During the summers we are and will remain focused on our house design and sailing ventures. So we have decided to share Oma's cottage with three or four individuals who can appreciate the uniqueness of this spiritual retreat.
If you are a healing practitioner
